Sintered stone starts as quartz, feldspar and mineral oxides — no resin, no binder. Pressed at high tonnage and fired at 1200 °C, the particles vitrify into a single non-porous body. It is the same process the earth uses to make stone, compressed into hours.
The result behaves nothing like quartz or granite in a kitchen. You can set a hot pan straight down on it. Turmeric, red wine and soy sauce sit on the surface instead of soaking in. It does not need sealing, ever.
We carry 60+ collections in 12 finishes, in 6 mm, 9 mm and 12 mm — the 12 mm full slab at 1600 × 3200 mm lets us run most kitchen islands in a single piece, with no seam down the middle.
